The Leadway Default Insurance Policy product is a credit insurance policy designed to indemnify an airline against financial loss following the default of a ticketing, travel or cargo agent up to agreed limits.
The Policy is open to all IATA approved agents carrying on business in Nigeria, but covers 100% of their default anywhere in the world.
Claims are paid within 30 working days of the submission of all supporting documentation to IATA who then distributes to all airlines who have suffered default.
Premium on this policy is charged per ticket issued by the IATA Agent under the program.
